Charlotta Faith-Ell conducts research on tools for effective governance and management of construction, land use, and natural resource management. Her research primarily aims to identify sustainable land-use strategies that address trade-offs between competing interests and objectives, for example in relation to the green transition, as well as how practitioners manage these goal conflicts.

Charlotta Faith-Ell is Associate Professor in Environmental Science, Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Built Environment at Mid Sweden University and holds a PhD in Natural Resources Management from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. She has more than 30 years of experience in practice and research within sustainable built environment development, particularly with regard to strategic and project-level environmental assessment.
